How to Wear
Four steps to a carry, four seconds to lock it in — the same sequence from newborn through 24 months. Start with the quick-start, then open any carrying position for the full walk-through.
Quick start · four steps
Step 01 — Unbox
Open the box. Inside: one Bonding Carrier, one fit-guide card, one mesh wash bag, and a pre-paid return label (you won't need it). No assembly. 15 seconds.
Step 02 — Tighten
Slip the carrier over your head like a t-shirt. Pull both side cords outward until the top of the chest panel sits one finger below your collarbone. 8 seconds · PT-verified.
Step 03 — Place
Support baby's head and ease them in, chest-to-chest. The knee-to-knee seat panel spreads their legs into the M-position — knees higher than their bum. 6 seconds · IHDI-approved.
Step 04 — Buckle
The single magnetic-assisted clip sits at your lower back. One-handed: bring the two ends together and they pull into alignment. You'll hear a click. 4 seconds.
Carrying positions
Same carrier, every stage. Open a position for the full step-by-step.
Facing inward · newborn and up
The everyday carry, from day one.
- Fasten the waist belt above your hips — snug, but you can still slide a flat hand underneath.
- Spread the seat panel fully so it reaches knee-to-knee (never folded or bunched).
- Place baby on your chest, chest-to-chest, and draw the body panel up their back toward the neck.
- Gently bounce to settle baby deep into the seat — knees higher than their bum (the M-position).
- Bring one shoulder strap over, then the other, and tighten until baby is close enough to kiss.
- Run the TICKS check below: face visible, chin off chest, airway clear.
Facing outward · around 6 months and up
For curious, fully awake babies with strong head and neck control.
- Fasten the waist belt above your hips and let the body panel hang down the front.
- Set the seat to the narrow, world-facing width so baby's legs are supported without overspreading.
- Place baby facing outward, back resting against your chest.
- Bring the shoulder straps over and cross them, clipping into the opposite-side buckles.
- Tighten so baby sits high and snug against you.
Keep it safe: only once baby has strong head and neck control (around 6 months). Keep outward sessions short — about 20 minutes — and switch back to an inward carry the moment baby gets sleepy.
Back carry · confident sitters
For older babies and toddlers with strong, independent trunk control.
- Practise low over a bed, or with a partner spotting you, until you're confident.
- Fasten the waist belt, then slide baby around to your back.
- Draw the body panel up baby's back and bring the shoulder straps over your shoulders.
- Tighten until baby sits high and close, knees in the M-position.
- Confirm baby is upright, supported, and you can feel them settle.
The TICKS safety check — every carry, twenty seconds
T — Tight. The carrier hugs baby close, with no slack.
I — In view. You can always see baby's face with a glance down.
C — Close enough to kiss. Baby's head is near your chin.
K — Keep chin up. Chin off the chest, airway open.
S — Supported back. Baby's back curves naturally, no slump.
